Patient:51-Years-Old Male
Treatment time:2018/11
BACKGROUND OF TREATMENT
This patient had been suffering from left shoulder pain since his college days. As a rugby player, he sustained a rotator cuff injury during a game. One day, after falling off his bicycle, the pain in his previously injured left shoulder worsened. At the time of the consultation, he was experiencing severe pain even at rest, and raising his arm caused excruciating pain. He also reported intense nighttime pain that frequently woke him up, describing his discomfort as extremely distressing. The pain level was self-rated as a 10 out of 10. An MRI scan revealed a moderate to large tear in the rotator cuff, with significant inflammation and fluid accumulation around the area.
MRI one year after treatment confirms regeneration of the rotator cuff.
CHANGES AFTER TREATMENT
The patient received to the left shoulder three injections of 50 million cells each at one-month intervals. Six months after the treatment, his shoulder pain had reduced from a 10 to a 5, and the previously troublesome nighttime pain had disappeared, giving him significant relief. One year after the treatment, an MRI scan showed improvement in the damaged area, with clear evidence of rotator cuff regeneration. Pain at rest and during shoulder elevation had completely disappeared.
